Privacy
Robo is operated by Nucleus47. This is what Robo collects and why.
Your account
You sign in with your email address and a code we email you. We keep your email, your username, and what you save, follow, hide, and post while signed in. We also keep the IP address and browser details of your sign-in sessions. There is no password.
We email sign-in codes. If you turn on the weekly email, we send you events from the feeds you follow, and every weekly email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Messages you send through the feedback form reach the person who runs Robo by email.
Cookies and storage
A session cookie keeps you signed in. A cookie named robo_region remembers the area you picked. Your browser's local storage keeps the events you hide while signed out, a comment draft, and your region pick on this device.
Analytics
Robo uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and clicks. It sets its own cookies in your browser. It runs on public pages, not on sign-in pages or private links. Page fonts load from Google Fonts.
Who processes it
Robo runs on Cloudflare: hosting, the database, file storage, and the email that carries sign-in codes and the weekly email.
What is public
Your username and avatar show on your profile and on the feeds you keep. Comments show to anyone who visits the page. The facts in feeds are open data under CC BY 4.0, as the terms say. Your email address is never shown.
Your choices
Unsubscribe from the weekly email from any message or in Settings. Leave the leaderboards in Settings. There is no delete-account button yet; to have your account removed, use the contact page.
