El Marsam: Modern and Contemporary Art from Egypt

One of the first US exhibitions devoted exclusively to modern and contemporary Egyptian art, with more than 40 works tracing nearly a century of Egyptian art. Pioneering modernists like Mahmoud Said and Inji Efflatoun appear alongside contemporary artists including Youssef Nabil, many shown in the US for the first time.
