Walking tours, seances, costume events, vendor fairs, haunted attractions, and parades, with hundreds of individual events across the city. Eleven days of carnival rides, livestock and agricultural exhibits, the New England Giant Pumpkin Weigh-Off, pig races, lumberjack shows, a championship rodeo, grandstand concerts, and classic fair food.
King Richard's Faire10:30am to 6pm, day 2 of 2, Oct 3 to 45 Pine Street, Carver, MA 02330New England's long-running Renaissance festival returns for eight fall weekends on the pine grounds in Carver, with jousting, live stage shows, themed weekends, artisan crafts, games of skill and turkey legs. Final 2026 days are the Fest-Evil finale on October 24 and 25, with trick or treat and a costume parade. Admission is tiered by date: early October adults $40 and kids $24, rising to $46 and $26 closer to Halloween; children under 4 are free. Parking is free.
Jack's Abby Oktoberfest Weekend 202611am to 6pm, day 3 of 3, Oct 2 to 4100 Clinton Street, Framingham, MA 01702Framingham's lager brewery celebrates German beer culture with a fall Oktoberfest weekend on Clinton Street. The weekend opens with a free cask-tapping kickoff party on Friday night, followed by an open-air street festival Saturday and Sunday with polka bands, stein-hoisting contests, carnival games, German food and kid-friendly activities. Saturday and Sunday are ticketed (general admission about $13 to $18); the Friday kickoff is free.

Thousands of hand-carved glowing jack-o'-lanterns line woodland trails alongside an eerie graveyard, a haunted pirate ship, stylish scarecrows, and larger-than-life displays, with hot cider and baked goods at the end. Timed entry; advance tickets required. Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Oct 7; extra day Tuesday Oct 27.
