The weekend opens with a free cask-tapping kickoff party on Friday night, followed by an open-air street festival Saturday and Sunday with polka bands, stein-hoisting contests, carnival games, German food and kid-friendly activities. Saturday and Sunday are ticketed (general admission about $13 to $18); the Friday kickoff is free.

Thousands of hand-carved glowing jack-o'-lanterns line woodland trails alongside an eerie graveyard, a haunted pirate ship, stylish scarecrows, and larger-than-life displays, with hot cider and baked goods at the end. Timed entry; advance tickets required. Closed Monday, Tuesday, and Oct 7; extra day Tuesday Oct 27.
Hysteria at Connors Farm6:30 to 11pm, day 1 of 2, Oct 2 to 330 Valley Road, Danvers, MA 01923Danvers farm's haunted Halloween attraction on select October nights. Wander the Haunted Fields, a nighttime trail populated by eerie beings and scary sights, or brave the Flashlight Maze, a corn maze navigated by flashlight in the dark. Gates open at 6:30 pm; the haunting runs about 7 to 11 pm.

Final 2026 days are the Fest-Evil finale on October 24 and 25, with trick or treat and a costume parade. Admission is tiered by date: early October adults $40 and kids $24, rising to $46 and $26 closer to Halloween; children under 4 are free. Parking is free.

Festival 202612 to 9pm, day 1 of 3, Oct 9 to 11Free1 Davis Square, Somerville, MA 02144Three days of free outdoor street music as 35 activist brass bands from across the country take over Davis Square and surrounding Somerville neighborhoods. Friday and Saturday bring street concerts and dancing; Sunday closes with a brass parade down Mass Avenue to Harvard Square, arriving in time for Oktoberfest.
